When you want to take a break from the sun, Corolla offers a number of activities for you and your BFFs. Reserve a paint party at Local Color – their “Lushes With Brushes” adult events are quite popular. In warmer months, you can find inner peace with yoga classes on the lawn at Historic Whalehead. On the mainland side, Sanctuary Vineyards offers the perfect backdrop for a wine tasting — check their website for live music and other events. While you’re in Jarvisburg, stop by the Weeping Radish Farm Brewery and celebrate one another with a tasting at North Carolina’s first microbrewery.

Get Out There: Are your besties also your workout buddies? Bring your bikes and pedal past the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and through Historic Corolla, or sign up for the weekly Lighthouse 5k series that runs from late May through September. Of course, if you’re truly looking for adventure you have to book one of our famous Wild Horse sightseeing tours. No trip to Corolla, Galentine’s or otherwise, is complete without a gander at these gorgeous and majestic creatures.
