Rest assured, when you come to the Outer Banks for your family vacation there are plenty of places to visit for a slice or two. Eat in, take out, just don’t forget the napkins. Here are some of our favorites. (Note: if you come in the off-season, be sure to call ahead because hours may vary.)
Corolla Pizza and Deli – Try the Monte Calvo, an aromatic pie with fresh roma tomatoes and garlic. There’s also a full menu of subs and burgers.
Cosmo’s Pizza – The popular Corolla Classic has all the best toppings: pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, mushrooms, and red onions.
Pizzazz Pizza – Enjoy their lunch buffet if you dine in, or place your order online to pick up. Pizzazz has four locations in the OBX, including Corolla.
Tomato Patch Pizzeria – Try the One-Eyed Purple People Eater (with eggplant) or the very unique Seafood Sensation with pesto, shrimp, and crabmeat.
Wiseguys Pies – You’d be wise to try any of these notoriously-named pizzas, like the Bugsy Siegel (ham, pineapple, and bacon) or the Henry Hill (chicken, mozz, cheddar and wing sauce).
Because we’re feeling extra hungry today, here are a few more places to try:
The Pizza Guy – Red and white sauce pies available with a wide assortment of toppings – even shrimp and scallops.
Giant Slice Pizza – Delicious New York style pizza for people who need to satisfy a giant appetite.
With all the great pizza places in the Currituck Outer Banks, you can enjoy the sand and a slice.
