When you think of comedy clubs, you might guess that New York or Los Angeles are the prime spots for an evening of merriment courtesy of the top names in the business. Did you know, however, that Currituck County has its very own laugh factory? The Comedy Club of the Outer Banks is close to celebrating its 30th year of showcasing comics from around the country, many of whom have appeared on their own television specials and headlined in Vegas!
If you’re in the mood to smile and enjoy great food and entertainment with friends, check out the Comedy Club’s schedule – tickets for shows (which are about 90 minutes and feature 2-3 acts) can be purchased online. The club is open year round but gets busy in the summer, so reservations are highly recommended then. Due to the nature of the entertainment, the club recommends shows for ages 16 and up.
Best of all, unlike other comedy clubs there is no two-drink minimum! Your admission price, however, doesn’t cover food and drink, so if you’ve come hungry it will cost extra.
