There’s a nip in the air, but the skies are still blue. September is always a wonderful month in the Currituck Outer Banks – you may not be able to play too long in the water, but when the weather is nice you can sit on the beach and watch the waves. This month, Martin has a few varieties galas on the trees. These sweet fruits are great for chopping up in salads or making into sauce, or just for a daily snack! Some kids like to dip gala slices into peanut butter for an extra special treat. However you enjoy them, you can pick them by the bagful at Martin.
