Featured prominently on the website’s homepage, the “Come to Currituck Sweepstakes” offers one lucky household a chance to learn of the unique character of Corolla and the beauty and serenity of our beaches.
Thanks to the generosity of Corolla area businesses, the winner of the sweepstakes will have a chance to experience firsthand the why this corner of Northeastern North Carolina is a vacation paradise.

TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus 8 Air Segment Featuring the Currituck Outer Banks
The Outer Banks have always been known as a family vacation destination, but when Jon and Kate Gosselin and their eight children--one set of twins and one set of sextuplets--came to visit, well the world turned upside down.
The popular TLC program, “Jon and Kate Plus 8” brought the Gosselin family to the northern Outer Banks for some family vacation time. The segment, aired Monday, August 11, 2008 at 9:00 p.m., featured the staff of Corolla Outback Adventures and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.
