Currituck Mainland

With its exquisite beaches and breathtaking landscapes, Currituck County has long been known as a vacation paradise. But Currituck County has more to offer than just fun days in the sun. The Mainland of Currituck is home to an array of
specialty stores, farm markets with fresh produce, exquisite vineyards, and a variety of
family restaurants that are sure to please any visitor.
The Currituck mainland is also home to seven
golf courses. Test your skills at the
Kilmarlic Golf Club, where the 2009 NC Open was held, or take in the beautiful scenery of the Currituck Sound while playing at
The Pointe Golf Club. Make sure to check out
Dennis Anderson's Muddy Motor Sports Park for some muddy racing action and stop by
Digger's Dungeon to get your picture taken with the famous monster truck. Another unique experience can be found at
Wrangler Farms. Stop by to enjoy a relaxing horseback ride on the trails or pony rides for the kids. Wrangler Farms is also home to several rescued and adoptable Corolla Wild Horses.
Even at the height of the summer season, mid-week traffic on the Mainland is light enough to move you along at a comfortable speed. So cross over to the Mainland and spend a day exploring our sites. We’re sure it will be one of the highlights of your stay on the Currituck Outer Banks.
