Corolla Communities

The Currituck Outer Banks offers a number of communities that allow guests the use of various community amenities, such as swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness centers, basketball courts, playgrounds, etc. Homes range in size from 2 bedroom condos all the way up to 23 bedroom estates.  You can be sure to find the perfect vacation home for your family whether you enjoy the oceanfront, soundfront or somewhere in between. 

4x4 Beaches
As the name implies, homes in this area are only accessible by a 4wd vehicle.  Homes range from 2-23 bedrooms in size and vary in distance to the beach.  Wide sandy beaches and the chance to see the Corolla Wild Horses from your bedroom window offer an adventure filled vacation for the whole family. 

Villages at Ocean Hill
The Villages at Ocean Hill is Corolla's last paved community before the 4wd area.  Homes range from 4-7 bedrooms and weave their way through the natural surroundings on both the oceanside and the soundside.  Community amenities include two community pools (oceanfront and lakefront), tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, fitness center (fee based) and a 10 acre lake for fishing.

Estates at Ocean Hill
Ocean Hill offers guests vacation homes located on the Oceanside in Corolla.  Most homes are within walking distance to the Historic Corolla Village and have views of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. 

Corolla Village
Corolla Village offers a select number of vacation homes near the Historic Corolla Village.  Located within walking distance to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, The Whalehead Club and the Historic Corolla Village

Corolla Light Resort
A 250 acre Ocean to Sound Resort community with 409 homes. Whalehead Beach
Whalehead offers homes from the oceanfront to six lots back.  The grocery stores, gift shops and restaurants are just a short car trip away. 

Monteray Shores
Monteray Shores is a soundside community that offers a swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts,  fitness center, jogging trails and a soundside pier. 

Buck Island
Buck Island is a private resort community in Corolla located within walking distance to most of the shopping and dining areas.  Community amenities include:  an Olympic sized swimming pool, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, private beach access and lighted sidewalks

Crown Point
Located just south of the Timbuck II shopping area, Crown Point offers oceanside homes of 4 bedrooms and up.  Community amenities include a swimming pool, tennis courts and a community water filtration system.  There are 3 private beach accesses for the community. 

Ocean Sands
Ocean Sands offers single family homes, condos, townhomes and duplexes...most located on the oceanside.  A large lake within the community offers the perfect setting for an evening stroll or the recreational fisherman.  Each section of the community offers a private beach access and some sections are located within walking distance to the Harris Teeter grocery store and additional shopping. 

The Currituck Club
The Currituck Club is one of Corolla's newest communities.  Built around a Rees Jones designed golf course, the Currituck Club provides the perfect vacation setting on the soundside of Corolla.  Single family homes and condos are available for rent from a number of area agencies.  Community amenities include:  several community pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, lighted walking/biking trails, playground, fitness center, beach valet service, private beach access and community trolley service.  Learn more about The Currituck Club.

Spindrift
Spindrift is a private oceanside community near the southern end of Corolla.  Easy beach access and close proximity to activities, shopping and dining, make this community an ideal choice for families looking to relax.

Pine Island
Pine Island is known for it's large beautiful homes that offer great views of both the ocean and sound.  Many homes offer private pools.  Community amenities include:  2 swimming pools, picnic area, tennis courts and walking/biking trails.
