CCRC Outdoor Cinema and Fun Night June 23rd, July 14th, July 28th, and August 11th
Be sure to bring your family out to one or all of CCRC’s Outdoor Cinema and Fun Nights. In addition to enjoying a family-friendly movie in an open-air arena, there will also be a variety of educational stations for children. These stations will engage and entertain your children while providing a fun learning environment. We encourage all who attend to bring a chair or blanket so they can relax in comfort while watching a movie on a beautiful Currituck mainland evening!
Excellent Daily Use Facilities
The CCRC doesn’t only offer family friendly events, but daily recreational use as well. Those who own a horse can enjoy free daily use of the facilities. Indoor and outdoor rings are available for riders of all skill levels to practice their horseback riding. Furthermore, there is a playground available for parents who simply want their children to get a little exercise and fresh air on a summer afternoon. Finally, there is a sound access that makes for the perfect place for both visitors and locals to launch a canoe or kayak!
Scenic Event Site
Currituck County Rural Center is also available to rent for a variety of functions. Its beautiful scenery and ample event space is the perfect site for any wedding or family reunion as it offers a view of the Currituck Sound. Those planning corporate events or family reunions would have a hard time finding a more perfect destination as CCRC provides an amazing landscape for just about any game or activity you can imagine.
